Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty good so far. Comment: Seems pretty good. Burned 6 so far and all work perfectly. I burned at 2x to be safe. Tried 4x once and seems to be fine also.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great discs, awesome value Comment: Burner: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203B (Samsung)
I'm very happy with these discs. They arrived well-packaged without incident. I've burnt 10 so far without a coaster, and PIE/PIF profiles look much better than my old 2.4x Verbatim discs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Get for what you paid for Comment: This is very thin light Shinny disc (you can even use it as a personal mirror), not sure why Amazon would want to put their prestigious brand-name label for this crappy media. 3 Errors occurred out of 5 this Amazon DVD+R DL, statistically speaking, it is an outlier of the mean average for any brand with this much errors; my best brand, Memorex, failed about 2 out 25 in the norm bell-shaped. Not wonder it is cheap for DL of 50 discs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Flakey at best Comment: I burned at 2x, 2.4x and 4x and the results have been poor even at slow speeds. I also tried 3 different burners with no improvement.
I've gone through about 30 disks so far with only 9 successfully burned and verified discs, 11 discs that burned successfully but failed the verification process, and about 10 discs that failed to burn completely.
The discs that were burned and verified successfully work fine so perhaps I got a bad batch, but I would wait for more reviews before purchasing another spool since there may be a quality issue.
Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible! Do Not Buy! Comment: These DVDs are absolutely worthless. I have used many different brands of media and I have never had a problem burning data until I got these. Of the few that actually burned correctly, when put into a PC they took a lengthy time to be recognized as a data disc by the PCs. I have attempted to use them on a laptop and a PC without luck on either one. I'll get 1 or 2 that work, then 5 or 6 that fail. Even some of the discs that claimed to have successfully burned did not. I attempt to copy a supposed successful disc onto another PC and it fails recording 1/2 through. It's obvious they should not be making DL DVDs. Single layer may work fine, but these are garbage for DL copying.
